The practitioner behind ReadinessNavigator
ReadinessNavigator grew out of real certification work: taking a product development organisation from an informal way of working to a secure development process an auditor could sign off.
Background
I work on product security for industrial and connected products: the processes, responsibilities and evidence a manufacturer needs to show that security is part of how a product is built, not something added just before release.
I led an IEC 62443-4-1 certification at an industrial manufacturer. That meant defining the secure development lifecycle, working with the development teams until it became part of their normal work, and preparing the evidence for the certification body. The same foundations now carry much of what the Cyber Resilience Act asks of manufacturers.
ReadinessNavigator is the tool I wanted at the start of that project: a structured way to see where you stand against a standard before you spend budget on closing gaps.
How we work

Assessments are free and anonymous
The questionnaires are scored in your browser. There is no account and no email address, and your answers are not sent to us. You see where you stand before you talk to anyone.

Experience from real projects
The guidance comes from a certification that was actually carried out, including the parts a standard leaves open and the evidence an assessor asks for in practice.

Paid work is for closing the gaps
When you want help adapting your processes, we work with your teams on the changes and the evidence, and hand everything over so you are not dependent on us afterwards.
